Given ,

Slope (m) = -3

X - intercept (d) = -5

We know that , slope intercept form is given by

y = m(x + d)

Thus ,

y = -3(x + (-5))

y = -3x + 15

3x + y - 15 = 0

Hence , the equation of a straight line is 3x + y - 15 = 0
