we know that:
The equation of line when one point ,(x, , y,) and slope m is given ;
= (y-y, ) = m(x-x,)

here,
equation of line when point given is (1,7)
and slope is 2 .
=> ( y- 7) = 2 ( x - 1)
=> y-7 = 2x -2
=> 2 x - y = -7+2 = -5

=> 2x - y +5 = 0 Answer
