x=m

Let AB be a straight line parallel to y-axis at a distance a units from it. Then, clearly, all points on the line AB have the same abscissa m. Thus, AB can be considered as the locus of a point at a distance a from y-axis and all points on the line AB satisfy the condition x = m.

☺️ Hey mate! here's your answer!☺️

the equation can be formed , using :-

ax + by + c = 0

so, here b = 0 .

example,

2x + 3 = 0 ,

it can be written as ,

2×x + 0×y + 3 = 0

so, here , a= 2 , b = 0 and c = 3
