3x-4y+11=0
y=(3/4)x+(11/4)
m=3/4
so the line parallel to the given line will also have the same slope thus the same value of m
so it's equation will be
y=mx+c
y=(3/4)+c
now putting the co-ordinates of the given point(4,5) in this equation
5=(3/4)(4)+c
5=3+c
c=2
equation of the line is
y=(3/4)x+2
y-2=(3/4)x
4y-8=3x
=>3x-4y+8=0
y=(3/4)x+(11/4)
m=3/4
so the line parallel to the given line will also have the same slope thus the same value of m
so it's equation will be
y=mx+c
y=(3/4)+c
now putting the co-ordinates of the given point(4,5) in this equation
5=(3/4)(4)+c
5=3+c
c=2
equation of the line is
y=(3/4)x+2
y-2=(3/4)x
4y-8=3x
=>3x-4y+8=0
