a = 1/2 b = -2/3

S = a + b

= 1/2 -2/3

= 3/6 - 4/6

= -1/6

P = 1/2 × -2/3

QP = x^2 -Sx + P

= x^2 +1/6x -1/3

= 6x^2 + x - 2
