The equivalent resistance between A and B is 22/5 or 4.4 ohm.

explaination -

R1 and R2 are in parallel therefore,

1/R'=1/4+1/6=5/12

R'=12/5=2.4 ohm

then R3 is in series with R'.Therefore

total equivalent resistance =2.4+2=4.4ohm

the equivalent resistance between a and b is equals to R1 + R2 which is parallel to each other therefore are 1/4 +1/6 is equals to 2.2 Ohm . Now (R1 + R2) + R3 is equals to 2.2 + 2 ohm equals to 4.4 Ohm .
