Answer:

Explanation:

THIS FIGURE REPRESENTS A BALANCED WHEATSTONE'S BRIDGE AND HENCE NO CURRENT PASSES THROUGH THE DIAGONALLY PLACED 2 OHM RESISTOR.

THE THREE 1 OHMS ARE IN SERIES WHICH IS IN PARALLEL WITH THE 2

OHMS.

R = 2*(1+1+1)/2+1+1+1

  = 2*3/5

  = 6/5

  = 1.2 OHMS.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

1ohm

explanation :-

two resisters having resistance 1ohm and 1ohm are in series so net resistance between these two resister is 1+1=2ohm

then this 2ohm resister is parallel to the conjugated 2ohm resister so net resistance between these two resister is 2x2/2+2=1ohm

then this 1ohm resister is with series with another 1ohm resister so net resistance of this resisters is 1+1=2ohm

then this 2ohm resister is parallel to the another 2ohm resister so net resistance of this system is

R=2x2/2+2=1

hope this will help you
