Answer:

6Ω & 4Ω are in parallel

1/R¹ = 1/6 + 1/4

1/R¹ = (2 + 3)/ 12

1/R¹ = 5/12

R¹ = 12/5

3Ω & 4Ω are in parallel

1/R² = 1/3 + 1/4

1/R² = (4 + 3) / 12

1/R² = 7/12

R² = 12/7

Now R¹ and R² are in series

R = R¹ + R²

R = 12/5 + 12/7

R = 12( 1/5 + 1/7)

R = 12( 7 + 5) / 35

R = 12(12) / 35

R= 144/35

R = 4.11 Ω
