SOLUTION :

Given polynomial is $2x^2+x-1$​

Now we have to find the factors by factorisation method :

$2x^2+x-1$​

$=2x^+2x-x-1$

Taking the common factor outside the terms,

$=2x(x+1)-1(x+1)$

Again taking the common factor outside the terms,

= (2x-1)(x+1)

$2x^2+x-1=(2x-1)(x+1)$​

∴ the factors of the given polynomial $2x^2+x-1$ are (2x-1) and (x+1)
