\underline \bold{Solution:-}

Power of lens = -2.0 Dioptre

Let the focal length of the lens be f.

We know that

Power \: of \: lens = \frac{1}{focal \: length} \\ \\ - 2.0 = \frac{1}{f} \\ \\ f = \frac{1}{ - 2}
f = -0.5 metre

Since the focal length of the lens is negative. So, it is a concave lens.

HEY MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER:-

given:-

Power of the lens (P) = -2.0D

By using, Power (P) =1 / focal length (f)

P=1/f

f=1/p m

f= -1/2 m

f= -100/2 cm

f= -50cm or 0.5m

Focal length of the lens is -50cm or 0.5m.

As the focal length of lens is negative, It will be a concave lens or diverging lens.

PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST.

AND I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU.
