Answer-

Since, Force = mass x acceleration (F= m.a)

Given,

m =3kg

Vi=2m/s

Vf= 20m/s

Time taken =9s

F = m x (Vf-Vi)/T. (Because, a = (Vf-Vi)/T)

Now, F= 3 x (20-2)/9

F = 3 x (18)/9

F = 6 Newton

Therefore, force applied on body is 6 N.
