To find : value of x i.e. angle DFE

Firstly,

we know that,

Sum of angles in same line = 180°

therefore,. angleABD + angleCDB = 180°

70° + CDB = 180°

CDB = 180° - 70° = 110°

now,. we know that,

Vertically opposite angles are equal

therefore,. angle CDB = angle EDF

CDB = EDF = 110°

Now , we also know that ,

sum of all angles in triangle. = 180°

angle EDF + angle DEF + angle DFE = 180°

putting the values of angles , we get,

110° + 40° + x = 180°

x = 30°

therefore, angle DFE = 30 °
