Magnetic force is given by, Fm = q (v x B)

                                                    = qvB sin∅

where q is the charge

v is velocity

B is magnetic field

and ∅ is the angle between v and B vectors

It is given that the particle is moving along the direction of magnetic field, therefore angle between them ∅ is 0

which implies sin ∅ = sin 0 = 0, which makes the force Fm equal to 0.
