Gradient is nothing but slope
so write it in y=mx+c form
3x-4y=-80
3x+80=4y
dividing throughout by 4
y=3x/4+20
on comparing it with y=Mx+c form we get
m=3/4
hope it helps

3x-4y=-80
-4y=-80-3x
4y=80-3x
y=(80-3x)/4
get x=1
y=(80-3×1)/4
y=80-3/4
y=77/4
y=14.5
get the question
3x-4y+80=0
3x-4×14.5+80=0
3x-77+80=0
3x=157
x=157/3
x=52.33333....
-4y=-80-3x
4y=80-3x
y=(80-3x)/4
get x=1
y=(80-3×1)/4
y=80-3/4
y=77/4
y=14.5
get the question
3x-4y+80=0
3x-4×14.5+80=0
3x-77+80=0
3x=157
x=157/3
x=52.33333....
