(ii) \sf CO_{2} :
12\times1 + 16\times2 \implies 12 + 32 \implies 44\: \sf u

(iii) \sf NaOH :
23\times1 + 16\times1 + 1\times1 \implies 23 + 16 + 1 \implies 40\: \sf u

(iv) \sf NO_{2} :
14\times1 + 16\times2 \implies 14 + 32 \implies 46\: \sf u
