Find the graph of p( x) eqel to X'squre - x -12

x^2-x-12=x^2-4x+3x-12=x(x-4)+3(x-4)=(x+3)(x-4)

Therefore we come to know that (x+3) & (x-4) are the factors of x^2-x-12.

So the zeroes of the polynomial will be -3 and 4.

We know that to plot the graph the abcissa and ordinate are needed.

Abcissa will the value of zeroes and ordinate will be always 0.

So the coordinates are (-3,0) and (4,0).After plotting the parabola has to be drawn such that the curve intersects the x-axis..
