hi
Find the greatest number that will divide 129, 161 & 224 leaving the remainder 5,6 and 7
129 - 5 = 124
161 - 6 = 155
224 - 7 = 217
so the numbers are 124,155 and 217
hcf of 124,155 and 217
124 = 2 x 2 x 31
155 = 5 x 31
217 = 7 x 31
hcf = 31
hence 31 is the greatest number that will divide 129, 161 & 224 leaving the remainder 5,6 and 7
hope it helps u

Heya !!!
129 - 5 = 124
161 - 6 = 155
224 - 7 = 217
New numbers are 124 , 155 and 217.
Now,
Prime factorisation of 124 = 2 × 2 × 31
Prime factorisation of 155 = 5 × 31
Prime factorisation of 217 = 7 × 31
Required Number = HCF (125,155,217) = 31
Hence,
The greatest Number that Divides 129 , 161 and 224 leaves remainder 5 , 6 and 7 is 31.
