Find the HCF and LCM of 17, 23 and 29 by applying the prime factorisation method. Find the HCF and LCM of 8, 9 and 25 by applying prime factorisation method.. [Sir, please note that here we have to find prime factors of the given numbers...and the answer you gave is wrong because 1 is not the prime number.. it is unique...So that's why I'm asking this Question that how to find the prime factors of these numbers???? Also the answer you gave was wrng bcos you didn't gave me the factors... you gave me the multiples of the numbers.... ]

17,23,29 are prime numbers.they have only two factors i.e 1 and itself
factors of 17 =f(17)={1,17}
f(23)={1,23}
f(29)={1,29}
hcf of prime numbers =1
hcf(17,23,29)=1
lcm of prime numbers= product of the numbers
lcm(17,23,29)=17*23*29
2)8=2*2*2
9=3*3
25=5*5
hcf(8,9,25)=1(1 is common factor of each number)
lcm =8*9*25
