we know that a = bq+r

HCF :

   336 = 54 * 6 + 12

     54 = 12 * 4 + 6

      12 = 6 * 2 + 0

as 0 comes as a remainder, HCF=6.

LCM :

   = product of two numbers/HCF

   = 336 * 54/6  (336 and 54 are two numbers , 6 is the HCF)

         { cancel and multiply }

LCM = 3024
