Find the HCF of 12, 24, 36

first take out the prime factors of 12 , 24 , and 36
12= 3*2*2
24=3*2*2*2
36= 3*2*2*3

separate the common terms:- 

3*2*2 = 12

therefore HCF of 12,24,36 is 12

Highest Common Factor (HCF)= 12
