The HCF of the 2 numbers 148 and 185 is expressed as 148x + 185y

HCF of 148 and 185,

Hence the HCF of 148 and 185 is '37'.

Now 185 - 148 = 37

So 185 must be multiplied by '1' and 148 must be multiplied by '-1'.

So x = -1 and y = 1

Therefore the value of x is '-1' and y is '1'.
