\bold\red{Solution}

We have,

96 =  {2}^{2}  \times 3 \\ and \: 404 =  {2}^{2}  \times 101

Now, HCF × LCM = 96×404

==>>

lcm =   \frac{96 \times 40}{hcf} \\  =  \frac{96 \times 404}{4}   \\  = 96 \times 101 \\  = 9696

{\huge{\red{\mathfrak{answer}}}}

96=4 ×3

404 = 4 ×101

HCF × LCM = 96 × 404

\begin{lgathered}lcm = \frac{96 \times 40}{hcf} \\ = \frac{96 \times 404}{4} \\ = 96 \times 101 \\ = 9696\end{lgathered}

96×40 = 4

96×404

=96×101

=9696
