Answer:

The set of natural numbers is (N)={1.2,3,4,5,........}.

It is evident that there is no common factor (except 1) between two consecutive natural number.

So HCF of two consecutive natural numbers is 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

HCF of any two consecutive natural numbers is 1. because the difference between two consecutive numbers is one & if the HCF is greater than one the the two consecutive numbers has to be divisible by that number which is not possibl

suppose I take 4 and 8

Step-by-step explanation:

so I factorise 4

so if I factorise 4, I will get 2×2

then I factorise 8

so if I factorise 8, I will get 2×2×2

Then I have to find the common numbers from the factorising of 4 and eight

The common is 2×2 = 4

So the answer will be 4.
