HCF mean Greatest Common Divisor or Greatest Common Factor ,which completely divides the given integers i.e without leaving any remainder.



There is no common factor other than one /1 between  any two consecutive numbers ,So HCF has to be 1.

for example;; 20,21 HCF=1..
                      99,100  HCF=1...
