least prime is 2
and composite is 4
hcf is 2 = 2×1
4 = 2×2×1
so hcf is 2
so hcf is 2
my answer was wrong

least prime number is 2. and least composite number is 4. and its HCF would be 2.
further ,prime numbers are those which are divisible by itself but except 1. because if we take 2 below 1 then it would become 1/2 half of this number ,i mean it is divisible by 2 because to resulting in its half .thats why it has been removed from the prime numbers sequence !
prime numbers started from 2 e.g -2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19 .....
and composite numbers are those which are not prime numbers along with 1.and it starts from 4....
e.g =4,6,8,10,12,14....
hope it helped you !
you could mark me as brainlist if you think so !
but it helped you thats enough for me !
thank you !
