CUBOID :
base area,πr² = 180 cm²
volume = 900 cm³
height,h = ?

Volume of a cuboid = base area × height
900 = πr²h
900 = 180×h
h = 900/180
h = 5 cm

height of cuboid = 5 cm

Given:

  • Base area = 180 cm^2
  • Volume, (v) = 900 cm^3

To Find:

  • Height of the cuboid, (h).

Solution:

  • Here, the base area, (length*breadth)  = πr^2
  • We know that,
  • Volume of the cuboid = (length*breadth*height)
  • ⇒ volume of the cuboid = base area * height
  • ⇒ v = a*h
  • Substituting the values in the above formula we get,
  • ⇒ 900 = 180*h
  • Rearranging the formula to find the height of the cuboid.
  • ⇒ h = 900/180 = 5
  • Height, h = 5 cm

∴ The height of the cuboid, h = 5 cm.
