QUESTION-:

Find the height of a right triangular field, whose area is 2400 sq. m. and one of the sides is 80 m.

EXPLANATION-:

Given:-

  • One side, Base=80 m
  • Area=2400 m²

TO FIND-:

  • Height, H .

We know that-:

\longrightarrow \underline{\boxed{\ddag\;\;\tt Area_{(right\;angles\;triangle)}=\frac{1}{2}\times b \times h \; \ddag }}

Putting values-:

\rightarrow \bf\; 2400=\frac{80h}{2}\\\\\rightarrow \bf\; h=\frac{2400}{40}\\\\\rightarrow \boxed{\bf\; h=60}

∴The height is 60 m.
