To Find:-

  • Find the height of the trapezium.

Given:-

  • Area of trapezium is 80cm² , the length of parallel side is 11 cm and breadth is 9 cm.

Solution:-

️ ➭ Area = 1/2 (a + b) h

️ ➭ 80 = 1/2 ( 11 + 9 ) h

️ ➭ 80 = 10h

️ ➭ h = 80/10

️ ➭ \tt \boxed  { \: h \:  =  \: 8 cm \:  }

Verification:-

️ ➭ 80 = 1/2 ( 11 + 9 ) 8

️ ➭ 80 = 1/2 ( 20 × 8 )

️ ➭ 80 = 160/2

️ ➭ 80 = 80
