u = ?
v = 0
t = 10s
a = -2.5 m/s²
v = u +at
⇒ 0 = u + (-2.5)×10
⇒ 0 = u - 25
⇒ u = 25 m/s
Initial velocity was 25 m/s
v = 0
t = 10s
a = -2.5 m/s²
v = u +at
⇒ 0 = u + (-2.5)×10
⇒ 0 = u - 25
⇒ u = 25 m/s
Initial velocity was 25 m/s

Hi there !!
Here's your answer
Let the initial Velocity be ' u '
The final Velocity = 0m/s [ the car comes to stop after sometime ]
Time taken = 10 sec
Acceleration (negative ) = -2.5m/s²
To find the initial Velocity , we will use the 1st equation of uniform motion :
v = u + at
0 = u + (-2.5)(10)
0 = u - 25
u = 25
Thus,
The initial Velocity is 25m/s
_______________
Hope it helps :D
