As we know,
v=u+at
Here, v
is the final velocity, equal to 0.
0=u+at

-u=at

-u=2.5m/s^2*10s

u=-25m/s

jagarlamudi200pamp92: the equation is confusing
spillutla: According to definition, a=(v-u)/t
spillutla: when we rearrange it, we get v = u + at

acceleration A is equal to initial velocity U minus final velocity V whole by time To.
in mathematical form
A=(U-V)/T
A is given,V is given as zero(also known as rest position) .T is given.
A=(U-V)/T
=2.5=(U-0)/10
[no need of conversation of units as they all are is SI units]
=2.5=U/10
=U=2.5×10
=25 mts
