Answer:-

Given:-

  • Mass (m) = 1 kg
  • Velocity (v) = 10 m/s

To Find:-

Kinetic energy of the particle.

____________...

We know,

K.E. = ½ mv²

where,

  • K.E. = Kinetic energy
  • m = Mass &
  • v = Velocity.

∴ K.E.= ½ (1 kg) (10 m/s)²

➵ K.E. = (½ kg) (100 m²/s²)

➵ K.E. = 50 kg m² s^-2

K.E. = 50 J

Kinetic energy of the particle was 50 joules.
