Given,
- Length of cuboid is 20cm
- Breadth of cuboid is 10cm
- Height of cuboid is 40cm
We know that
- Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h(l + b)
Where,
- l is length
- b is breadth
- h is height
⇢ LSA = 2h(l + b)
⇢ LSA = 2 × 40(20 + 10)
⇢ LSA = 80(30)
⇢ LSA = 2400cm²
Lateral surface area of cuboid is 2400cm²
We know that
- Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
⇢ TSA = 2(lb + bh + lh)
⇢ TSA = 2((20)(10) + (10)(40) + (20)(40)
⇢ TSA = 2(200 + 400 + 800)
⇢ TSA = 2(1400)
⇢ TSA = 2800cm²
Total surface area of cuboid is 2800cm²
Hence,
