Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Edge of cube (a) = 13.5 cm

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-

  • Lateral Surface Area (L. S. A.)

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

We know that,

Lateral surface area of cube = 4a²

, where a = edge

4a² = 4(13.5)²

4 × 182.25

729 cm²

Hence,

  • Lateral surface area of cube is 729 cm²

Mᴏʀᴇ ғᴏʀᴍᴜʟᴀs :-

ᴄᴏɴᴇ :-

  • Total Surface Area (T. S. A) = 6a²
  • Volume = a³
  • Diagonal = √3a

Firstly let us understand what is lateral surface area.

 \:\:

The lateral surface area of a 3-dimensional object is the surface area of all the sides excluding the base and top sides.

 \:\:

 \red{\bold{4a^{2}}} [ a = length of side ]

 \:\:

So,

 \:\:

 \sf \longmapsto LSA = 4(13.5)^2

 \:\:

 \sf \longmapsto LSA = 4(182.25)

 \:\:

 \bf \dashrightarrow LSA = 729 \: sq \: unit

Surface area of cube = \rm 6a^2

 \:\:

Volume of cube = \rm a^3
