Find the LCM and HCF of 1296 and 2520 by the prime factorization method.

Here is your answer,

Prime factorization of 1296 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3

Prime factorization of 2520 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7

L.C.M = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7

                 = 45360

H.C.F = 2 
× 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 

              = 72

the answer is here,

 = > \: 1296 = {2}^{4} \times {3}^{4}

 = > \: 2520 = {2}^{3} \times {3}^{2} \times 5 \times 7

lcm \: = \: {2}^{4} \times {3}^{4} \times 5 \times 7

=> 45360.

hcf = \: {2}^{3} \times {3}^{2}

=> 72.
