Given:

Numbers: 16, 90, 91, 280 & 455

To find:

L.C.M. of the numbers

Solution:

(i) We will find the L.C.M. of the numbers 16, 90, 91, 280 & 455 by the prime factorization method.

(ii) Let's first write the factors of each number

16 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

90 = 2 × 3 × 3 × 5

91 = 7 × 13

280 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 7

455 = 5 × 7 × 13

(iii) Now, we will take the least common factors of the numbers

L.C.M (16, 90, 91, 280 & 455) = 2⁴ × 3² × 5 × 7 × 13 = 65,520

Thus, \boxed{The\:L.C.M.\:of 16,\:90,\:91,\:280\: and \:455\:is\:\bold{65,520}.}
