FINDING LCM BY PRIME FACTORIZATION METHOD

16=2×2×2×2

36=2×2×3×3

___ ____

54=2×3×3×3

among these 4 numbers , there are 2 and 3 as common factors .

so...take common factors in pairs.

WE GET, 2×2×2×2×3×3×3

===>4×4×27

===>16×27

LCM===> 432

Ganesh928484: but in the 16 factorization there are 2 pair of 2 then in 24 there are one pair of 2 and singel 1 and singel 3 then in 36 one pair of 2 and one pair of 3 and 54 single one and one singel 3 as well as one pair of 3 but i cant understand why we take only 2×2×2×2×3×3×3 but actually this also written as 2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×3×3×3×3×3×3
