Heya

a) • x^2-4
=x(x-4) ...(1)

b) • x^2-16
=x^2-4^2
=(x-4)(x+4) ...(2)

From (1) and (2) expressions :-
L.C.M. (x^2-4 , x^2-16)
=x*(x-4)*(x+4)
=x(x-4)(x+4)

Hence, L.C.M. of (x^2-4 , x^2-16) is x(x-4)(x+4).
