GIVEN:

  • Number = 12,24,36

TO FIND:

  • least number which after being increased by 5 is exactly divisble by 12,24,and 36.

SOLUTION:

Firstly we have to find the LCM of 12,24,36

12= 2*2*3

24 = 2*2*2*3

36 = 2*2*3*3

LCM = 2*2*2*3*3

= 72

We have to find a number which after being increased by 5 is exactly divisble by 12,24,and 36 so we have to subtract 5 from the LCM.

Required number = 72-5

= 67
