Solution -

Note : At first, find the sq. root of 6203 by long division method

As,  

(78)² < 6203 < (79)²  

Next Perfect Sq. = 79² = 6,241  

Smallest number to be added    

= 6,241 - 6203   = 38  

∴ Perfect Sq. = 6,241

Smallest no. To be added = 38
