for this you must have to memorise the square of two digits number till 30.

In given question

if you remember the square of 23 then it would be 529

and for 22 then it would be 484

since the no. in question is 525 then on subtracting we can get only 484 (for nearest perfect square)

so we will subtract 525-484=41

41 is, answer

and subsequently the square root of the no which we got, after substraction is

22
