since the area of rectangle is given as 70 square centimetre
and two perpendicular length is 6 cm and 8 cm
and diagonal divides the quadrilateral into triangles
therefore area of first triangle is half x 6 x diagonal
and area of another triangle is half x 8 x diagonal
after adding area of both the Triangles we get
(3+4) x diagonal
therefore
70 sq. cm. = 7 x diagonal
diagonal = 70/7 = 10 cm
and two perpendicular length is 6 cm and 8 cm
and diagonal divides the quadrilateral into triangles
therefore area of first triangle is half x 6 x diagonal
and area of another triangle is half x 8 x diagonal
after adding area of both the Triangles we get
(3+4) x diagonal
therefore
70 sq. cm. = 7 x diagonal
diagonal = 70/7 = 10 cm
