Answer.     Given length l = 20 m breadth b = 20 m and height h = 10 m Longest rod that can be placed in a room is nothing but its diagonal.Length of diagonal of a cuboid = √(20 + b2 + h2)Length of longest rod =  = √(400 + 400 + 100) m = √900 m = 30 m Thus the length of the longest rod is 30 m
