i.e ,

perimeter of triangle p(t)= sum of all sides

p(t)=6+10+12=28 cm

i.e, length of the string is 28 cm

if the same string is used to make a square then the perimeter of square is equal to length of the string

i.e, perimeter of square=length of the string

4(length of squareside)=28 cm

length of square side= (28/4) cm = 7cm

therefore , length of the square is 7cm and length of string is 28cm
