here the answer

let the equal side be x

unequal sides = 8cm

perimeter =30 cm

x + x + 8 = 30  \\ 2x  + 8 = 30 \\ 2x = 30 - 8 \\ 2x = 22 \\ x = 22 \div 2 \\ x = 11

Equal side = 11

Answer:

ANSWER = 11 CM

Step-by-step explanation:

PERIMETER OF THE ISOSCELES TRIANGLE = 30 cm

IT'S UNEQUAL SIDE LENGTH = 8 CM

EQUAL SIDES OF THE ISOSCELES TRIANGLE =

AS WE ALL KNOW THE ONE SIDE OF THE EQUAL SIDES IS SAME TO THE ANOTHER SIDE OF THE EQUAL SIDES. SO, EQUAL SIDES = 2X

= 2X + 8 CM = 30 CM

= 2X = 30 CM - 8 CM

= 2X = 22 CM

= X = 22/2 CM

= X = 11 CM

SO EQUAL SIDES LENGTH IS 11 CM PER SIDE.
