Find the area of the rectangle:

Area = length x breadth

Area = 13.6 x 3.4 = 46.24 m²

Find the length of the square:

Area of the square = area of the rectangle.

Area = Length²

Length = 46.24²

Length = √46.24

Length = 6.8 m

Answer: The length is 6.8 m

Given,

area of square = area of rectangle

a^2 = l × b

a^2 = 13.6 × 3.4

a^2 = 46 .24

a = √ 46.24

a = 6.8 cm

hence the length of each side of a square is = 6.8 cm
