Length of the longest pole that can be put in a room = Length of the diagonal inside the room Length of the diagonal = √( l2 +b2 + h2) = √(102 + 102 + 52) = √(100 + 100 + 25)= √225 = 15 Hence, the length of the longest pole that can be put in the room is 15 m.
