Given, b = 10 CM, l = ?, perimeter =50 cm

2(l+b)= 50

2(l+10)=50

l+10= 50/2=25

l = 25 - 10 = 15 CM

So, length = 15 cm

given :

  • breadth of rectangle = 10 cm
  • perimeter of rectangle = 50 cm

To Find :

  • length of rectangle ?

Solution :

let the length of rectangle be x

and we know that,

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

➪ 50 = 2(10 + x)

➪ 10 + x = 50/2

➪ 10 + x = 25

➪ x = 25 - 10

➪ x = 15 cm

hence, length of the rectangle is 15 cm
