find the length of rectangle whose perimeter 9500 cm and 500 CM

Heya,

According to the question perimeter of rectangle = 9500 cm
Length of rectangle = 500cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)
Therefore,
9500 = 2(500 + breadth)
Breadth + 500 = 9500/2
Breadth = 4750 - 500
Breadth of rectangle = 4,250 cm. ....Answer

Let the breadth be x,
and length be 2x.
then,perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
2(2x+x)
2*3x
6x
9500\3x=
9500 \div 3 =  =  =  =  =  =  =
