Answer:

hypotenuse sqr. = perpedicular sqr. + base sqr.

h^2=p^2+b^2

h^2= 9^2+12^2

h^2=81+144=225

h=√225

h=15 cm

In ∆ABC, /_ B = 90°

.・.By Hypotenuse side theorem

(AC)^2 = (AB)^2 + (BC)^2

= (9)^2 + (12)^2

= 81 + 144

= 225

AC = 225. (Taking square root on both side)

= 15cm

.・. The lenght of hypotenuse of right angle triangle is 15cm
