Find the length of the largest pole (in dm) that can be placed in a hall of dimensions 1.2 m, 4 dm and 3 dm.

Answer:

Dimensions of the hall

L= 1.2m= 12dm b= 4dm h=3dm

length of largest pole = length of diameter

= √l²+b²+h²

= √12²+4²+3²

= √144+16+9

= √169

= 13dm or 1.3m
